Earlier in the winter, I was frequenting Bear Creek to snowboard and film for a competition- but mostly because it's fun doing this stuff. We didn't place in the competition, but it was worth the time spent. Here is the final video, as well as pic of the two riders: Christian and Shane Wall

MALIBU, just like how saved by the bell captured it. The roads to the top of these hills are crazy, the houses leaning off are even crazier, and the cars were insane, the views were epic. Definitely a cool place to roam around.

California is dope place, these are just some photos from day trips to LA. There is way more to be uploaded, but out of chronological order- more like a summary of my winter.

Just taking a walk between classes in the park, I snapped a few photos. Fall colors are rad, you don't see them that often.

A few days ago I went over to Morocco for a few hours, It was a simple boat ride over from Spain across the medit, a popular attraction for how easily it´s done. On the boat you have to get your passport stamped, and go through customs, etc... and I witnessed, for my first time, a gypsy pack gettintg caught with illegitimate Romanian passports. Once we got to Africa, I rushed off the boat to take some pictures. I snapped one of a car and a building that caught my eye, and then I started to get yelled at, only to have a police van and another officer on foot coming strait at me, and fast. So, I played the dumb tourist and threw my hands in the air. Apparently they thought I took a picture of the cops, and made me delete the photos. Everyone saw this, and tour guides came rushing to me, seeing me as bait. we already had plans to meet with a tour guide, whom we eventually found after getting stalked by other tour guides. He showed us the hercules cave, where the cave entry looks like the shape of the African continent. Their is a lot of history and legend to go along with the cave- Atlas is buried somewhere here. We also took a ride on some camels for a bit, which was pretty rad, but was purely a tourist attraction. Most people here travel in cars or motorcycles. Morocco is cool place though, tons of culture and great climate. Definitely worth the three hour drive, and a speeding ticket
The next day we went to the rock of Gibraltar, which is also on the medit, but actually English land. Gibraltar is only a few miles big, but it would take a lot to walk across it all. At the base of the rock and the border between Spanish territory and English, their is an airport that was built, for when Franco closed the border between the two. Past the airport, their is a small town with touristic attractions and shopping for the locals. There are some killer fish and chips here. Further up, there is a cable cart that takes you to the top of the rock, where you can find monkeys, or apes..not sure. They like to hang around people, and find stray food. You can get pretty closed to them, but sometimes they will bite or chase you. I had a baby one chase me after I took its picture. It went from cute and furry to scary quickly. They kind of just hang around at the top of the rock, and the forested areas. The view from the top is ridiculous, if you can see past the clouds, which open up towards the end of the day. The rock is a lot cooler than I expected: worth the trip.

I went to Alhambra, which is supposed to be the seventh wonder of the world. pretty cool stuff, definitely worth seeing, at least once. The place is made with ridiculous architecture, and even has building specifically for concubines. I also rented this ridiculous giant tricycle and rolled around the hood for a bit. And I discovered locals jumping off of the giant rock on the beach, gnarly stuff. And Lastly,I´ve found this is not a good time to look German and|or Dutch in Spain because of the world cup.

So we decided to skip a few spots and head strait to Salobrena, a small costal town on the mediteranian sea. It´s located just west of Almunecar, another town I´ve been to a few years ago on a school trip. I stopped in the bar we all went to- The RAGGED ROCK - a had a few drinks with Andrew and Mary, the owners and bar tenders we met while staying in Almunecar. I have a recent picture of them somwhere, Im wokring on finding it. Anyways the Views here a gnarley, filled with cliffs being pounded by waves. Definetley some of the cooler landscapes i´ve seen.

Arrived in Madrid today for the first stop of our adventure, were not sure where the next stop is, who cares? I'm in spain chillin, I've been here before when i was younger, and this spot, Plaza de Mayor, is what I remember the most.

After spending the weekend at home, kicking it with my rents, I came back into the City to continue work. Being hot and muggy outside, I ducked into the Natural Museum of History in the UWS for a little bit to cool off, and shot "wildlife" in anticipation of my trip to Spain and Africa, which I leave for tomorrow. Im psyched and mentally ready, just not packed. After cooling off, I walked into the park and found myself following a trail of small a water stream, leading me into a part of the park i've never been.getting lost built up my appetite, so I grabbed two slices of Pizza and a drank at rays on b-way and 50 something. I will not miss paying for overpriced pizza in Spain/ Africa.

This is the first post of my blog, and well, It only seems appropriate that it begins at my roots, my hometown right outside of North Philla- this place is responsible for who I am today. While here, I checked out a spot that I went to through out stages of my life, during each stage, for different reasons. It's a area of woods next to the train tracks and partly under an overpass. I first started going there while I was in middle school, maybe earlier? My friends and I would just dick around here and throw rocks, start fires, go in the murky sewer water, etc. Later in high school it became known as chezies, It was a party spot and a cool place to drink..i guess. Somewhere along the lines there was a hut involved too, where we would kick it at night around a campfire and drink. The party scene down here died down after a bit and I started to do graffiti down here on the bridge so the commuters on the train could see it. I stopped doing graffiti for a number of reasons, but i checked the area out, finding it calm and littered with old beer cans.
